Starting as a concept and dream in early 2010 to becoming a reality when our current brick and mortar location opened up in 2012.  The Hi Bred  or "Hawaii" bred Kollective refers to the owners' roots in the islands as well as the collective appreciation and love of the arts in all mediums.  

At the store some of our favorite forms are showcased from local and internationally made jewelry to our locally printed clothing line and others that are exclusive to the shop.  Canvas art paintings as well as framed prints adorn and decorate the walls enabling international and local talent to be seen as well as a healthy selection of functional glass art smoking pieces for the casual consumer to the modern day concentrate enthusiast and everything in between.  "Something for everybody" is a mantra we try to adhere by in the store and the concept of being a gift shop, clothing store, art gallery, head shop all in one we believe sets us apart from many of the other one concept stores out there.

 We hope to inspire those with a dream and instill in everyone a purpose because we only have so much time on this earth and as Benjamin Franklin said "if time be of all things the most precious, wasting time must be the greatest prodigality."
